White House withdraws Trump's pick for CDC, Axios reports

WASHINGTON (Reuters) -The White House is pulling President Donald Trump's nominee to lead the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Dave Weldon, Axios reported on Thursday just as the nominee was set to appear before the U.S. Senate for confirmation.
