(Reuters) - Intel is in advanced talks for a transaction in which Apollo Global Management would supply more than $11 billion to help build a chip plant in Ireland, the Wall Street Journal reported on Monday.

J&J to sell all shares in spun-off unit Kenvue May 13, 2024 06:53AM

ESR halts trading on potential take-private plan, sources say May 13, 2024 06:42AM

HONG KONG (Reuters) - Hong Kong-listed real estate fund manager ESR Group, which halted trading in its shares on Monday, is subject to a potential take-private bid from a group of investors including Starwood Capital Group, three people with knowledge of the matter said.

Ireland mulling cuts in supports for asylum seekers, Ukrainian refugees May 13, 2024 06:24AM

DUBLIN (Reuters) - Ireland will this week consider making cuts to state support for asylum seekers and refugees, including those who arrived from Ukraine, in a bid to bring the system more in line with other European countries, Prime Minister Simon Harris said on Monday.

Singapore's incoming PM Wong appoints new deputy PM in minor reshuffle May 13, 2024 06:21AM

SINGAPORE (Reuters) - Singapore's incoming prime minister Lawrence Wong announced a minor cabinet reshuffle on Monday ahead of assuming the top post later this week, with the biggest change the promotion of the trade minister to become his deputy, local media reported.

Trade Minister Gan Kim Yong, 65, was given the additional title of deputy prime minister and was made Wong's replacement as chair of the central bank, media said.
