Wall Street opens lower as high-stakes Iran, inflation tests loom

Aug 24 (Reuters) - Wall Street's main indexes opened lower on Monday as investors weighed the U.S. pledge of an "economic D-Day" against Iran while awaiting AI giant Nvidia's quarterly results and a closely watched inflation report later this week.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 15.1 points, or 0.03%, to 53,261.95 at the open. The S&P 500 fell 11.0 points, or 0.14%, to 7,663.38, while the Nasdaq Composite dropped 115.1 points, or 0.44%, to 26,065.32.
