Wall St opens lower ahead of Trump's Iran deadline

April 7 (Reuters) - ‌Wall ​Street's ​main indexes opened lower ‌open on Tuesday as ⁠investors assessed comments from ‌the U.S. and ‌Iran for any clues on where ​the conflict was headed, before ⁠President Donald Trump's deadline for ​Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz.

The ​Dow Jones ‌Industrial Average rose 74.9 points, or ⁠0.16%, at the open to 46,744.76. ⁠The S&P 500 fell ​9.9 points, or 0.15%, to 6,601.93, while the ‌Nasdaq Composite dropped 69.2 points, or ‌0.31%, to ⁠21,927.087.
