Wall St opens higher after best month in years

May 1 (Reuters) - Wall Street's main indexes opened higher on Friday, building on the impetus from their biggest monthly rise in years as confidence in strong earnings overshadowed oil risks.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 180.4 points, or 0.36%, at the open to 49,832.57. The S&P 500 rose 25.5 points, or 0.35%, at the open to 7,234.54, while the Nasdaq Composite rose 85.5 points, or 0.34%, to 24,977.79.
