Venezuela August inflation slows to 8.9%, central bank says

Sept 4 (Reuters) - Venezuela's inflation slowed to 8.9% in August, central bank data showed on Friday, down from 19.9% the previous month.
Year-on-year inflation stood at 534.21%, according to Reuters calculations based on the bank's figures.
