Valero shuts small crude unit at Port Arthur, Texas refinery: sources

HOUSTON (Reuters) - Valero Energy Corp (NYSE: VLO) shut the small crude distillation unit (CDU) at its 335,000 barrel-per-day (bpd) Port Arthur, Texas, refinery on Monday, said sources familiar with plant operations.
The 75,000-bpd AVU 147 CDU was shut to repair a heat exchanger, the sources said.
