Universal Music appoints Matt Ellis as new CFO

(Reuters) - Universal Music Group, the world's biggest music label, said on Monday it has appointed Matt Ellis as its new chief financial officer.
Ellis, a former finance chief at Verizon Communications, will succeed Boyd Muir, who was made chief operating officer of UMG in October 2024.
The change will become effective on June 9, the company said.
