US sues Connecticut and New Haven over sanctuary policies

WASHINGTON, ‌April ​14 (Reuters) - ​The U.S. ‌Department of Justice ⁠on ‌Tuesday said it ‌was suing Connecticut, its ​governor and ⁠the city of ​New Haven, among others, to ​challenge ‌sanctuary policies that ⁠it said "interfere ⁠with the federal ​government's enforcement of immigration laws".
