US launches new wave of strikes against Iran, military says

WASHINGTON, July 16 (Reuters) - The U.S. began conducting a new wave of strikes against Iran on Thursday at 2 p.m. ET (1800 GMT) to "further degrade Iranian military capabilities," U.S. Central Command said in a statement.
