SEOUL (Reuters) - Stabilising prices are creating an environment to cut rates in South Korea, a senior presidential official said on Sunday.
"(South Korea) is one of the countries with the most stable price levels compared to other countries globally," Sung Tae-yoon, policy chief for South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol, told a public broadcaster KBS.

CAIRO (Reuters) - The U.S. Naval Forces Central Command (NAVCENT) said on Sunday that it had rescued the crew from the Liberian-flagged, Greek-owned bulk carrier M/V Tutor that was attacked by Yemen's Iran-aligned Houthis on 12 June in the Red Sea.
Sailors assigned to the Dwight D. Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group airlifted the crew out on Saturday, NAVCENT said, adding that one civilian sailor remained missing.

CAIRO/RIYADH (Reuters) -Saudi Arabia's annual inflation rate remained at 1.6% for the third month running in May, government data showed on Sunday, with higher housing rents still the main driver.
Housing rents rose 10.5% from a year earlier underpinned by a 14.3% rise in apartment rents, according to the General Authority for Statistics.
