US imposes sanctions on Cambodian businessman, entities over scam centers
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The United States said on Thursday it is imposing sanctions on a Cambodian businessman, Ly Yong Phat, and several entities over alleged human rights abuses related to the treatment of trafficked workers subjected to forced labor in online scam centers.
The announcement came in a statement from U.S. Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control.
