THE HAGUE, Dec 15 (Reuters) - Appeals judges at the International Criminal Court (ICC) on Monday rejected one in a series of legal challenges brought by Israel against the court's probe into its conduct of the Gaza war.

WASHINGTON, Dec 15 (Reuters) - Nick Reiner, 32, was arrested on Sunday evening and was being held on $4 million bail, booking information from the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Office showed.
The arrest comes as police continued their investigation after actor-director and political activist Rob Reiner and his wife were found dead in their Los Angeles home on Sunday.

Dec 15 (Reuters) - Mexican financial technology company Plata said on Monday it has raised up to $500 million in a financing deal arranged by Nomura Securities International, as it moves toward becoming a full-fledged bank.
The licensed digital financial platform, which received authorization for a banking license in December 2024, is now in the final stages before starting operations.

BUCHAREST, Dec 15 (Reuters) - Romania's broad coalition government survived a no-confidence vote on Monday over a second attempt to raise the retirement age for judges and prosecutors and cap their pensions, but the top court could still strike down the bill later this month.
