US, others express concern over violations of ceasefires in eastern Congo

WASHINGTON, ‌March ​5 (Reuters) - ​The United ‌States, European Union ⁠and others ‌said in a ‌joint statement on Thursday ​they were ⁠profoundly concerned about "continued ​and recent" violations of ceasefires ​in eastern ‌Democratic Republic of ⁠Congo and called ⁠on all parties ​to recommit to end fighting ‌and return to ‌negotiations.
