UK police investigate arson at former synagogue in London
LONDON, May 5 (Reuters) - British counter terrorism police are investigating an arson incident at a former synagogue in east London, authorities said on Tuesday, following a series of arson attacks on Jewish targets in recent weeks.
Police were called to reports of a fire at the former synagogue earlier in the day, according to the statement. Police added that minor damage was caused to a set of gates and a lock at the front of the building, and no reports of any persons injured.
