WiseTech Global appoints insider Zubin Appoo as permanent CEO Jul 27, 2025 06:49PM

(Reuters) -Australian logistics software maker WiseTech Global on Monday said it named its chief of staff, Zubin Appoo, as its permanent chief executive, to replace interim CEO Andrew Cartledge.

The company's co-founder and long-serving chief executive, Richard White, stepped down last October, following media reports of allegations about his personal life.

Man arrested at US Treasury building after climbing gate, agency says Jul 27, 2025 06:26PM

(Reuters) -The U.S. Secret Service arrested a man after he climbed a gate at the U.S. Treasury building in Washington on Sunday at about 2:30 p.m., the agency said in statement.

Tom Lehrer, musical satirist and math prodigy, dead at 97 Jul 27, 2025 06:10PM

(Reuters) -Tom Lehrer, the math prodigy who became an influential musical satirist with his barbed views of American social and political life in the 1950s and 1960s, has died at the age of 97, according to news reports.

Lehrer died at his home in Cambridge, Massachusetts, on Saturday, his longtime friend David Herder told the New York Times. No cause of death was specified.
