Trump to announce DC will host 2027 NFL Draft, Axios reports

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump plans to announce on Monday that Washington, D.C., will host the 2027 NFL draft, Axios reported on Sunday.
Axios added, citing two sources, that the announcement is expected to be made with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell and Washington Commanders owner Josh Harris at the White House.
Trump has an unspecified sports-related announcement scheduled for 1.00 p.m. eastern standard time (1700 GMT), according to his Monday schedule released by the White House.
