WASHINGTON (Reuters) -U.S. President Donald Trump said on Tuesday he was in favor of spending cuts, adding he had a "good meeting" with U.S. House of Representatives Speaker Mike Johnson and other Republicans.
"I let them know that, I AM FOR MAJOR SPENDING CUTS! WE ARE GOING TO DO REDUCTIONS, hopefully in excess of $1 Trillion Dollars, all of which will go into "The One, Big, Beautiful Bill," Trump wrote on Truth Social.
