Trump says China's Xi approved TikTok deal

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump said on Friday that he had agreed with Chinese President Xi Jinping to approve a deal over TikTok.
"He approved the TikTok deal," Trump said to reporters in the Oval Office, adding that "it could be a formality" in getting an agreement signed later.
