Trump appoints Adam Telle as acting US Army Secretary

WASHINGTON, ‌Sept 3 (Reuters) - ​U.S. ​President Donald Trump ‌said in a ⁠social media post ‌on Thursday that ‌he was appointing Adam Telle, ​assistant secretary of the ⁠Army for civil works, ​as the acting U.S. Army Secretary.

A ​source familiar ‌with the matter told ⁠Reuters on Monday that ⁠U.S. Army Secretary Dan ​Driscoll had submitted his resignation to the ‌White House following months ‌of tension ⁠with ‌Pentagon chief ​Pete Hegseth.
