Tropical Storm Isaac forms over central subtropical Atlantic
(Reuters) - A system located several hundred miles to the east-northeast of Bermuda in the central subtropical Atlantic strengthened into Tropical Storm Isaac, the U.S. National Hurricane Center said on Wednesday.
Isaac is located about 690 miles (1,110 km) east-northeast of Bermuda, with maximum sustained winds of 50 mph (85 km/h), the Miami-based forecaster said.
