Toyota's third-quarter US sales up nearly 16%

(Reuters) -Toyota Motor's North American unit reported a near 16% rise in auto sales on Wednesday, helped by sales of its pickup trucks and cars.

Overall sales in the quarter rose to 629,137 units compared with 542,872 units a year ago.
