Toyota's first-quarter US auto sales rise nearly 1%

(Reuters) - Toyota Motors' North American unit reported a rise of about 1% in first-quarter U.S. vehicle sales on Tuesday, fueled by demand for its pickup trucks and luxury models.
The Japanese automaker's sales rose to 570,269 units, compared with 565,098 units a year ago.
