Thyssenkrupp to close Indiana automotive site

May ‌18 (Reuters) - German ​industrial ​conglomerate Thyssenkrupp will ‌close its production ⁠site in Terre ‌Haute, Indiana by ‌end-March next year under an ​overhaul of its automotive ⁠unit, the company said ​in a statement on Monday.

Its chassis ​business will ‌be focused at its ⁠facility in Hamilton, Ohio, ⁠the company added.

The Terre ​Haute site, which currently employs around 320 ‌people, will be phased ‌down in ⁠an ‌orderly manner, ​Thyssenkrupp said.
