Suez Canal Authority issues navigational maps for planned extension

CAIRO (Reuters) - The Suez Canal Authority's chairman, Osama Rabie, said on Monday that navigational maps for the planned 10km (6.2 mile) canal extension were issued.
Rabie's statement said that the extension project will increase the canal's capacity by between six and eight vessels per day.
