MADRID, April ‌28 (Reuters) - The Spanish government still expects ‌the economy to grow 2.2% this year, Economy ‌Minister Carlos Cuerpo ‌said on Tuesday, adding though that uncertainty triggered by the U.S.-Israeli war on Iran could weigh on the forecast.

Spain's economy, which expanded 2.8% last year, ‌is one of the top performers in Europe.

The public debt-to-GDP ratio should end the year at 99.3%, down from last year's 100.7% and below ‌the previous official forecast of 100.1%, ‌Cuerpo said.
