South Korea, Vietnam sign 12 MOUs as Lee urges broader cooperation

SEOUL, ‌April 22 (Reuters) - ​South ​Korean President Lee ‌Jae Myung called ⁠for expanding cooperation ‌with Vietnam beyond ‌trade and investment to areas ​including energy security ⁠and infrastructure during summit ​talks in Hanoi with Vietnam's leader ​To Lam ‌on Wednesday, according to ⁠South Korean media.

The two countries ⁠signed 12 memorandums ​of understanding covering sectors such as nuclear ‌power, electricity and infrastructure, ‌the reports ⁠said.
