Russian Su‑30 fighter crashes on training flight in Crimea, TASS reports

MOSCOW, ‌April 3 (Reuters) - ​A ​Russian Su‑30 fighter jet ‌crashed in Crimea on ⁠Friday during a ‌scheduled training flight, ‌with both crew members ejecting safely, ​the TASS state news agency ⁠reported citing Russia's defence ​ministry.

The aircraft was flying without weapons when ​it came ‌down, the ministry said, adding ⁠that a ground search-and-rescue team ⁠evacuated the pilots and that ​their lives were not in danger.

The cause ‌of the crash was not immediately ‌clear.
