Russian Su‑30 fighter crashes on training flight in Crimea, TASS reports
MOSCOW, April 3 (Reuters) - A Russian Su‑30 fighter jet crashed in Crimea on Friday during a scheduled training flight, with both crew members ejecting safely, the TASS state news agency reported citing Russia's defence ministry.
The aircraft was flying without weapons when it came down, the ministry said, adding that a ground search-and-rescue team evacuated the pilots and that their lives were not in danger.
The cause of the crash was not immediately clear.
