Russia says it has expelled two Romanian diplomats from Moscow
MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russia's foreign ministry said on Wednesday that it had expelled two Romanian diplomats shortly after the country's charge d'affaires in Moscow was summoned.
In a statement, the ministry said it had declared Romania's military attache and deputy military attache as persona non grata, ordering them to leave Russia.
The move, it said, was in response to Bucharest last month expelling the diplomats' Russian counterparts for what Romania called acts contravening diplomatic rules.
