(Reuters) - Outside political groups tied to the cryptocurrency industry have raised more than $102 million to spend on the upcoming U.S. congressional elections in order to elevate candidates who are friendly to digital assets, according to a report from Public Citizen.

(Reuters) - Fewer low-income Americans took out mortgage loans last year than 2020, real estate broker Redfin said in a report on Monday, as steep interest rates make homebuying less affordable.

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Steward Health, which operates 30 hospitals in nine U.S. states, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in Texas on Monday, aiming to secure a new loan from its landlord Medical Properties Trust.
The privately-owned hospital chain said it would continue serving patients as normal during its bankruptcy.

NEW YORK (Reuters) - The judge in the criminal hush money trial of Donald Trump said on Monday that he will consider jail time for the former president for additional violations of the gag order after finding that $1,000 fines are not working as a deterrent.
Justice Juan Merchan Merchan, who has already imposed $9,000 in fines on Trump, said during the hearing that he will find Trump in contempt of court for the 10th time.
