Rubio spoke with Honduras President-elect Asfura after election victory

Dec 26 (Reuters) - U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio spoke with Honduran President-elect Nasry Asfura to congratulate him on his victory, the State Department said on Friday.
"Secretary Rubio commended President-Elect Asfura for his advocacy of U.S. strategic objectives, including advancing our bilateral and regional security cooperation, and strengthening economic ties between our two countries," the State Department said.
