WASHINGTON (Reuters) -Federal Reserve Governor Chris Waller, an advocate for an immediate interest rate cut, said on Friday he would accept the job as head of the U.S. central bank if asked by President Donald Trump, but so far Trump has not contacted him about it.

ISLAMABAD (Reuters) -Pakistan said it held productive trade talks with the U.S. in Washington on Friday to advance economic cooperation, according to a statement from the South Asian country's finance ministry.

SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) -ChatGPT maker OpenAI is launching a $50 million fund to support nonprofit and community organizations, the artificial intelligence company said on Friday.
The fund is the first action following a recommendations report from the San Francisco-based company's nonprofit commission, which was formed in April to guide OpenAI's philanthropic efforts.

CARACAS (Reuters) -Seven Venezuelan migrant children who had been separated from their families and kept in U.S. care have been sent home, Venezuelan Interior Minister Diosdado Cabello and First Lady Cilia Flores said on Friday.

Bergman was one half of one of the greatest American songwriting duos. The other was his wife Marilyn, who died in 2022.
