SINGAPORE (Reuters) - A Singapore Air Force F-16 plane crashed at Tengah Air Base on Wednesday at 12:35 p.m. (0435 GMT), Singapore's defence ministry said on Wednesday.
The plane "experienced an issue during take-off and the pilot responded in accordance with emergency procedures", the ministry said in a statement. It said the pilot ejected successfully and is conscious and able to walk, and is receiving medical attention.

HONG KONG (Reuters) - Cash-strapped China Vanke is selling a large Shenzhen land plot at a reserve price of 2.24 billion yuan ($310 million) via auction, the developer's latest move to raise funds to ease its liquidity stress.

MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russia has started developing a nuclear power plant for its planned joint lunar station with China, the RIA news agency cited Yuri Borisov, the head of Russia's space agency Roscosmos, as saying on Wednesday.
In March, Borisov said Moscow was considering the idea of powering the station using nuclear energy.

JERUSALEM (Reuters) - Israel was reopening Kerem Shalom crossing on its border with the Gaza Strip on Wednesday, a statement from the Israeli agency in charge of it said, adding that aid trucks routed through from Egypt were already undergoing security inspections there.
Israel had closed Kerem Shalom crossing on Sunday after a Palestinian shelling attack nearby killed four soldiers.
