Republican Deb Fischer reelected to US Senate in Nebraska, Edison projects

(Reuters) - Nebraska Republican Deb Fischer won a third term in the U.S. Senate, Edison Research projected on Wednesday, fending off a closer-than-expected challenge from an Omaha union leader, Dan Osborn, who ran as an independent.
