(Reuters) - U.S. envoy for Japan Rahm Emanuel is considering a run for chairman of the Democratic National Committee(DNC), Axios reported on Friday, citing three people with knowledge of the matter.
The current DNC chair Jaime Harrison is not expected to seek renomination when the party holds a leadership vote early next year, Reuters reported earlier this month, citing two sources familiar with his thinking.
