Pakistan pauses key canal irrigation project

ISLAMABAD (Reuters) - Pakistan is pausing a key canal irrigation project, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said on Thursday, adding that no new canals will be built until a special committee formed to address concerns on the project reaches a consensus.
