One person dies as migrants aim to cross English Channel
PARIS (Reuters) -One person has died after a boat carrying migrants trying to cross the English Channel near Boulogne-sur-Mer got into difficulties, said the French local authority responsible for the region.
The French authority said 62 people had been rescued.
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and French President Emmanuel Macron are both under pressure to show they can control migration.
