One killed, 5 hospitalized from cable electrocution in Haiti market

PORT-AU-PRINCE, ‌Feb 19 (Reuters) - ​One ​person was ‌killed and five more ⁠were hospitalized ‌on Thursday in ‌Haiti's Petion-Ville, a suburb of ​the capital Port-au-Prince, when ⁠a high-voltage cable snapped ​in a public marketplace, electrocuting ​those below, ‌a judicial officer said.

The ⁠condition of the people ⁠taken to hospital remained ​unclear, local judicial officer Eno Rene ‌Louis told Reuters.
