Officials responded to Maryland school incident, report says no active situation
(Reuters) -Maryland's Harford County Sheriff's office responded to an incident at Joppatowne High School, the local sheriff said on Friday in a post on X, with media reporting that a fight involving a weapon had led to the evacuation of the school.
The sheriff's office told 11 News there was no active situation as of Friday afternoon. The media outlet also said that authorities appeared to have taken a person into custody off campus.
