Northern Ireland police investigate car explosion as attempted murder

BELFAST, ‌April ​26 (Reuters) - ​An attempted murder ‌investigation has begun ⁠after a ‌car explosion on ‌Saturday night outside a police ​station south of ⁠Belfast, Northern Ireland's ​police service said on Sunday.

"We have ​commenced ‌an attempted murder investigation ⁠which will be ⁠led by our Terrorism ​Investigation Unit," the force said in ‌a statement.
