June 15 (Reuters) - Chocolate maker Mondelez International on Monday named former Kellogg executive Amit Banati as its new chief financial officer, effective July 1.
He will take over the role from Luca Zaramella, who was named the company's chief operating officer in January after more than eight years as the Toblerone-maker's finance chief.
Banati was the CFO at Kellogg for about 13 years, and continued in the role at Kellanova until May 2025 after the company's split. He then took over as CFO at Tylenol-maker Kenvue for a year.
He has also held senior roles at Cadbury Schweppes and Mondelez's predecessor company Kraft Foods following a 13-year-long career at Procter & Gamble.
Mondelez has weathered a tough environment for packaged food makers, benefiting from demand for its biscuits and chocolates, despite higher prices.
