MEXICO CITY, Nov 3 (Reuters) - Private sector analysts polled by Mexico's central bank edged up their expectations for headline inflation this year and 2027, while also nudging up their economic growth estimates for both years, the bank said on Tuesday.
Headline inflation for this year is now expected to come in at 3.88%, up from the previous month's estimate of 3.87%, and seen closing 2027 at 3.85%, compared with the previous forecast of 3.82%.
Mexico's gross domestic product is now expected to grow 1.50% in 2026, up from a previous estimate of 1.40%, and 1.83% in 2027, compared with a prior forecast of 1.80%.
Analysts do not expect the central bank to make any further changes to its benchmark interest rate, currently at 6.50%, through the end of 2027.
