Malaysia's July CPI rises 1.8% y/y, slightly less than forecast

KUALA ‌LUMPUR, ​Aug ​17 (Reuters) - Malaysia's ‌consumer price index ⁠rose ‌1.8% in July ‌from a year ​earlier, government ⁠data showed on ​Monday.

The rise was slightly less ​than ‌the 1.9% increase ⁠forecast by ⁠economists in a ​Reuters poll.

The index rose ‌1.9% in June.
