Las Vegas casino group Caesars weighs takeover interest, FT reports

Feb 26 (Reuters) - ‌Caesars ​Entertainment ​is weighing takeover offers from ‌several potential bidders, including ⁠a bid from ‌Texas gaming and hospitality ‌billionaire Tilman Fertitta, the Financial Times ​reported on Thursday.

Caesars has received an ⁠offer from Fertitta Entertainment, the ​group behind the Golden Nugget casino chain, ​the report ‌said, citing people familiar with the ⁠matter.

The company is also considering a ⁠possible management-led buyout, the FT ​report added.

Caesars declined to comment on the report.

Shares of ‌the company closed up about ‌19% on Thursday ⁠after the ‌news.
