Kuwait says two navy soldiers killed

March 2 (Reuters) - ‌The ​Kuwaiti ​army said two navy soldiers ‌were killed on Monday ⁠while "carrying out duties" ‌with the Gulf ‌country's armed forces.

The army did not provide ​details in two separate statements ⁠on the circumstances of the deaths.

Kuwait ​has been intercepting drones and missiles launched ​from Iran ‌in the past few days ⁠as part of the latter's retaliatory strikes ⁠on neighbouring Gulf states ​in response to U.S. and Israeli attacks on the ‌Islamic Republic.
