Johnson expects Trump to sign affordable housing bill within 10 days

WASHINGTON, June ‌24 (Reuters) - ​U.S. ​House Speaker Mike Johnson ‌said on Wednesday he ⁠expects President Donald Trump ‌will sign the ‌affordable housing bill within 10 days, ​adding that House of Representatives ⁠Republicans will put together a ​reconciliation bill that would include voter ID ​legislation.

Trump earlier ‌on Wednesday canceled a planned signing ⁠of bipartisan legislation aimed at speeding ⁠up the construction and ​availability of more affordable housing until the Save ‌America Act voter ID bill was ‌passed.
