Japan's economy expands annualised 1.1% in April-June

TOKYO, ‌Aug ​17 (Reuters) - ​Japan's economy ‌expanded an annualised ⁠1.1% in ‌the April-June quarter, ‌government data showed on ​Monday, compared with ⁠a median market ​forecast for a 2.0% increase.

The ​rise ‌in gross domestic product (GDP) ⁠translated into a ⁠quarterly increase of ​0.3%, compared with a median ‌estimate of a ‌0.5% ⁠increase.
