Japan's economy expands annualised 0.2% in Q4, below forecast

TOKYO, ‌Feb ​16 (Reuters) - ​Japan's economy eked ‌out a slight ⁠expansion of ‌an annualised 0.2% ‌in the October-December quarter, government ​data showed on ⁠Monday, short of the ​median market forecast for a ​1.6% rise.

The ‌growth in gross ⁠domestic product (GDP) translated into ⁠a quarterly increase ​of 0.1%, which compared with the ‌median estimate for a ‌0.4% ⁠rise.
