Japan's Hitachi Metals to cut about 3,200 employees
TOKYO (Reuters) - Japan's Hitachi Metals Ltd <5486.T>, which makes components for cars and industrial equipment, said on Tuesday it would cut about 3,200 employees in Japan and overseas as it copes with the impact of the coronavirus.
It will try to make 1,000 of those job cuts through voluntary retirement, the company said.
