Aug 14 (Reuters) - ‌Jana Partners cut its stake in payments company ‌Fiserv by roughly 17% in the second quarter, ‌a regulatory filing with ‌the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission showed on Friday.

In late July, the activist investor ratcheted up pressure on the company, pushing it to launch a formal review of its entire ‌portfolio rather than sell assets piecemeal.

The 13F filing data is compiled once per quarter and disclosed within six weeks of quarter-end, the information is dated and will not ‌capture buying or selling done by these ‌large investors since June 30.
